It's Ok. Features Missing; Hot and Cold Zones; Splashback
Not sure why all the good reviews. I am not that impressed after using this air fryer for two months daily (and comparing it to two others, far less expensive). I missed the return deadline, otherwise, would have returned it. 1. Very narrow temperature range on the low end. It cannot go below 250 deg F in most modes. 105 deg F in the dehydration mode. Even Reheat does not go below 270. 2. No turn timer/warning. Some other air fryers will automatically notify you (audibly and visually) at half point on the timer to turn over the food. This one does not. 3. Perhaps the biggest flaw is that there are hot and cold zones. This means the food does not get cooked evenly - it depends on where it is in the basket. For example, the very center is cold. So, if you put a burger patty in the middle (the logical choice), the center of it will be undercooked while the edges will be dry (overcooked). You have to strategically move around the item you are cooking to ensure even heating. (I think the Ninja maker knows this since the Shake and Toss Often warning is repeated multiple times throughout the manual/Start Guide.) 4. The fan is very strong. If you cook anything that produces grease or use oil or butter, you might have splashback onto the heating element and the fryer starts to smoke like crazy. For this reason, you cannot use silicone trays or liners - they increase the possibility of the splashback. 5. The fan keeps going when you pull the basket out. Why does this matter? If you are anywhere near it and try to season (say, you flip the burger patty and want to add salt and pepper), if you are not careful, your spices will be blown all over the kitchen. You must take the basket further away from the fryer, while it's still going to add spices. To sum up: it's ok. It gets the job done for small items that can be moved around. There are better ones out there for half the price with more features and more even cooking.

Compact, easy to clean, great design
I wish this came in an XXL size. The design is sleek, simple, and modern, which fits my kitchen perfectly, but the size is too compact. You won’t be able to cook a whole chicken unless it’s very small. Aside from that, it’s definitely a great value for the price. I used to have a Philips XXL air fryer, which was easy to maintain and spacious enough to cook anything without any issues, like flipping beef or fish steaks. However, that one cost over $300. This one is less than half the price, and I don’t notice much difference in cooking results, except for the smaller basket size. It’s easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and comes with an attachable layer inside the basket that creates a small gap from the bottom, allowing food to cook evenly without needing to flip it too often. Just be careful with the extra crispy function—it definitely makes your food crispier, but you might want to reduce the cooking time from the recipe to avoid burning.

Teflon wears off
This is the 3rd one of these i bought, the first time it happened they sent me a replacement for the crisping tray. The nonstick coating rubs off in the middle. This is always hand washed, never put in the dishwasher. We use it for chicken nuggets and frozen foods, things that clean up easy, so its not like we are scrubbing the teflon off but that is what it looks like. Customer support offered a 50% off discount if I wanted to buy another crisping tray. I told them after 3 units and an extra crisping tray they could keep their deal and I would try another brand, so disappointed because besides this major issue for me it was a great product.

Don't Buy
At first the Ninja Fryer was wonderful, then it died in its first 6 months. The product came with a one year manufacturers warranty and I also purchased through Amazon the added 3 year protection plan . MISTAKE! It took a little time and hassle to send the product back for repair or refund. Amazon eventually refunded me because of the added insurance HOWEVER, Amazon didn't refund the full amount. It was minus $10.00 from what I paid for originally, And, on top of that I was out the $10 for the added 3 year insurance. Rip off. Think before you buy

This is THE BEST! The convenience of this is unbelievable. I have an old one that I never use because it's so much work to put the pieces together, clean them and store all the gadgets. This requires none of that. You put your food in the draw and take it out when it's done. The draw can be immersed in water for a quick clean with a soapy dish cloth and it's ready to go again. My husband and I use this everyday for all our meats now.

Stopped working after 4 months.
my last air fryer from a different company lasted me 4 years, and this Ninja one lasted me 4 months. Really disappointed since it’s so new, and I really liked it. It started making a noise that sounded like a clicking/rattling and eventually heard a pop inside the unit, so immediately turned it off. Not sure what the issue is as I can’t get inside of it, but I can’t use it anymore for fear that there’s a hardware issue. Won’t be repurchasing unfortunately.

My favorite kitchen appliance by far!
This airfryer is so easy to use and exceeded my expectations with the quality of how it cooked. My fish and tater tots were beautiful and crispy. Everything so far has turned out so much better than oven baking. And the controls are very easy to understand and user-friendly. No noisier than a kitchen extractor fan and it doesn't heat up the kitchen the way oven cooking can do. Buy one, you will not be disappointed.

I have always been hesitant on purchasing an air fryer. kind of felt it was over hyped just felt like it wasnt necessary to have, because i have an oven and while prime day came around the price was unbelievable , i finally caved and BOY OH BOY , The tune I was Singing has changed!! Amazing product
Having used the Ninja for the first time I put onion rings in it. It was a test drive. Gave it the right temperature and time. When it was done what I saw my onion rings made my eyes bug out. I've never seen anything cooked so well. Ninja is the way to go.

Freaking love this thing
I love roasted vegetables. I love chips (fine, steak fries....) heating a full oven and making them is a pain and takes the better part of an hour for prep and cooking. I'm trying to watch my sodium intake as well, and I realize now how insanely salty store bought oven chips are. Now, (and I realize I sound like a classic white person in an informercial) it's so much easier. Roasted carrots are, done in entirety in 20 minutes. Steak fries are the same, thick like I want them, bring to boil for 2 minutes, pat dry, toss in garlic powders, paprika, pepper and flour, 18 minutes tossing every for, and there's fries that make me want to weep for joy into my chip butty. There's just my wife and I and, for the two of use, 4qt is the right size. Look, you've basically got a miniature convention oven. Anything you can do in a regular oven you can do here essentially, but in less time, less heat (no searing the eyeballs via jet engine exhaust opening a 430* oven). I'm just gonna say as well, reheating little Caesars deep pan pizza made me curse at how crispy and amazing it was.
